Project Description

The Tenants’ Union Thessaloniki is the first renters' union in Greece — a significant step toward collective organization and the assertion of tenants' rights. It is a community of people that operates through open assemblies, collective demands, and action groups, standing up to those who profit from housing.

In collaboration with Vasso Koutsoupia, the Union’s new logo and visual identity were designed. Inspired by the Macedonian architectural tradition, the symbol depicts a shared roof that includes everyone — without exclusions or dead ends. The typography and color palette reference the familiar “For Rent” signs, creating a visual system that is both vibrant and solid.
